Healthcare for the 21st Century Physicians dedicated to improving the health of the families we serve in the Alleghany Highlands of Virginia and the Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia.

On July 1, 1997, a group of primary care physicians and specialists in the Alleghany Highlands of Virginia and the Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia merged their practices to create WVVA HealthCare Alliance. WVVA HealthCare Alliance is a multi-specialty group that currently includes 22 primary care physicians, five specialists,  four physician assistants, and two nurse practitioners. Our specialists include:  an oncologists, three orthopaedic surgeons, and a general surgeon. We also have subspecialties in the areas of pulmunology, cardiology, infectious disease, hematology, and nephrology.  In addition, we provide ancillary services that include X-rays, EKGs, bone density studies, ultrasound studies, and sleep studies.

The intent of WVVA HealthCare Alliance is to develop and maintain an integrated healthcare delivery system in West Virginia and Virginia through partnerships and affiliation with locally prominent physicians and other health care providers and organizations. All affiliated physicians and other health care providers and organizations must meet and maintain very stringent quality and professional standards including the specifications of the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).
